Noga Diamonds nació de una convicción: un papel dice mucho de un diamante, pero no lo dice todo. Lo que más importa se ve cuando la luz entra en él y vuelve a tus ojos.
Noga Diamonds began with a conviction: a lab report tells you a lot about a diamond, but not everything. What matters most shows when light enters it and comes back to your eyes.
Nuestros diamantes incoloros son de laboratorio HPHT: crecen a una presión y una temperatura parecidas a las de las profundidades de la Tierra.3 Tienen en esencia las mismas propiedades químicas, físicas y ópticas que un diamante de mina.4 Lo que cambia es el origen: detrás de cada uno hay un laboratorio, no una mina. Por eso podemos contarte con claridad qué es tu diamante y de dónde viene.
Our colorless diamonds are HPHT lab-grown, grown under pressures and temperatures like those deep inside the Earth.3 They have essentially the same chemical, physical and optical properties as a mined diamond.4 What differs is the origin: behind each one is a lab, not a mine. That’s why we can tell you plainly what your diamond is and where it comes from.

A strong lab report is only our starting point. One of the most demanding cut grades, GCAL 8X, goes to fewer than 1% of Excellent-cut rounds, according to GCAL.5 Even that isn’t enough for us.

Brillo, fuego y centelleoBrilliance, fire and scintillation
Los medimos en video, junto con la simetría óptica, y comparamos cada diamante con los demás de su forma. Solo nos quedamos con los que destacan. La mayoría no pasa: por eso nuestra selección es breve, y así la queremos.
We measure them on video, along with optical symmetry, and compare each diamond with others of its shape. We keep only the standouts. Most don’t make it, which is why our selection is small, and we like it that way.

Cada dato técnico de este sitio lleva su fuente. Nuestros diamantes incoloros llegan a ti tal como crecieron, sin ningún tratamiento; si uno de color está tratado, te lo decimos antes de que elijas. Y cada uno de nuestros diamantes lleva su número grabado con láser en el filetín, su fino borde exterior, para que puedas reconocer el tuyo en cualquier momento.
Every technical fact on this site comes with its source. Our colorless diamonds come to you exactly as they grew, with no treatment; if a colored one has been treated, we’ll tell you before you choose. And every diamond we sell carries its number, laser-inscribed on the girdle, its thin outer edge, so you can identify yours anytime.
El nombreThe name
Noga significa “luz” y “resplandor”.Noga means “light” and “radiance.”
En hebreo, noga (נֹגַהּ) significa “luz”, según la Academia de la Lengua Hebrea,6 y los diccionarios bíblicos la traducen además como “resplandor” o “brillo”.7 Es también el nombre hebreo de Venus,8 el planeta más brillante de nuestro cielo: de noche, solo la Luna lo supera.9
In Hebrew, noga (נֹגַהּ) means “light,” according to the Academy of the Hebrew Language,6 and biblical dictionaries also translate it as “radiance” or “brightness.”7 It’s also the Hebrew name for Venus,8 the brightest planet in our sky: at night, only the Moon outshines it.9
Nos pareció el nombre justo para lo que hacemos: buscar, entre muchos, el diamante que más luz devuelve. Una sola palabra para lo único que no negociamos.
It felt like the right name for what we do: searching among many diamonds for the one that gives back the most light. A single word for the one thing we never compromise on.
